Where to find cleaning bids in Texas and Oklahoma

Start with official purchasing pages, then read the documents before spending time on a proposal. Here are 3 starting points and a Go/No-Go Checklist for your crew.

Where to search

Texas: Electronic State Business Daily

Texas ESBD lets you view solicitations without signing in. Start with the Keyword Search field and search “janitorial,” “custodial” and “cleaning” separately.

Use the Posted status filter. Also inspect Addendum Posted results, because changes can affect the deadline or requirements.

Open the bid and its attached documents. Read the agency’s submission instructions before deciding whether registration is needed to respond.

Oklahoma: OMES Central Purchasing

On the official OMES page, find “Solicitations & Awards,” then follow “Open Solicitations.” Search for janitorial, custodial and cleaning services.

The same page links to supplier registration and training resources. Follow the requirements for the individual bid rather than assuming browsing completes registration.

We verified the official link, not the contents of the linked supplier portal. This guide does not confirm any current cleaning bid there.

Open Oklahoma Central Purchasing

Local example: Cleveland County, Oklahoma

This county’s public listing separates open bids from closed, awarded and cancelled postings. Check the title and status before downloading documents.

Our source check did not verify an open cleaning bid here. It is a place to check, not a recommendation to bid.

Use the same approach on your city, county and school district’s official purchasing pages. State searches are a starting point, not complete local coverage.

Before you decide to bid

A cleaning-services title is not enough. Skip supply-only purchases unless you actually sell the requested products.

Deadline
Record the submission date, exact time and stated time zone. If the time zone is missing, ask the agency before relying on it.
Walk-through
Check whether attendance is mandatory, when it happens and how to register. A future bid deadline does not mean you can still qualify.
Crew fit
List the sites, travel distance, sq ft and cleaning frequency. Compare the required hours with your available crew, including cover for absences.
Insurance and bonds
Read the required limits and any bond requirement. Confirm availability and cost before committing to a price.
Pricing and submission
Use the agency’s required pricing form. Check supplies, equipment, floor care, holidays and special tasks before estimating labor.
Addenda
Read every change and check again before submitting. Record any required acknowledgements and the official submission method.

Keep a short note with the agency, bid ID, official link and your reason to pursue or pass. A contract’s end date is not a bid deadline; an old award is not an open bid.
